Get recognition for exceptional HR performance

If your company has achieved exceptional results in HR that you want the world to know about, you have until midnight tonight to get your entries in for the Haymarket Human Resources Excellence Awards 2009.

The awards recognise creativity, originality and differentiation in HR and categories include:

  • Best talent management strategy
  • Most successful change management programme
  • Most effective benefits strategy

The organisers have also added three new categories this year:

  • Best use of CSR in HR
  • Best Third Sector HR strategy or initiative, and
  • Best Public Sector HR strategy or initiative

A single entry costs £295 + VAT, with further submissions charged at £175 +VAT. A discounted fee is offered for companies working with charitable or voluntary bodies.

The shortlist of entrants will be published online in May and also in the June edition of HR magazine.

Award winning business performance in your region

Awards trophies

If you are planning to enter the National Business Awards Regional Programme, you have until 31st March to register your interest.

The awards are divided between three regions (‘North of England & Northern Ireland’, ‘Wales, Midlands & East Anglia’ and ‘South of England’) and there are nine awards up for grabs:

  • The Badenoch & Clark Business of the Year Award
  • The Business Innovation of the Year Award
  • The City & Guilds Employer of the Year Award
  • The Customer Focus Award
  • The Entrepreneur of the Year Award
  • The Growth Strategy of the Year Award
  • The Health Work & Wellbeing Award for Small Business
  • The Orange Best Use of Technology in Business Award
  • The Small to Medium Sized Business of the Year Award

Registration costs £150 per category and once you are registered you have until 7th April 2009 to get your completed entries in. All regional winners will go forward as finalists in the National Business Awards National Programme.
